You do not need to buy new seat belts completely. It is enough to buy a colored seat belt in our store and order the service of replacing the belt in the seat belt.
Safety
- Changing the belts is completely safe for the passenger. The coil mechanism is not affected. We do not disassemble the spool itself, to remove the belt you only need to unscrew the belt completely.
- The breaking load of the belts in our store far exceeds the required minimum value.
- We have developed a universal extra-strong power seam. In a tear test of the seam, the belt ripped and the seam remained unchanged, indicating the extra strength of the seam.

Cost of services
- Replacement of the belt in the mechanism 20 USD for one belt.
- Dismantling / installation of belts from / to the car is from 20 USD for one belt.
The cost of material is paid separately. To replace one belt requires 2.5 - 4 meters of tape. On average, the back seat needs 3 meters, the front seat 3.5 meters.
Total cost of replacing one belt If you removed the belts yourself, the total cost of replacing the belt (work + materials) on different types of belt will be:
- on the Chinese 5-panel belt is approximately 32 USD,
- on the Chinese plain webbing or with colored edges 38 USD,
- on the European tape 44 USD.
The exact amount will be known after the fact, depending on the amount of material used.
Timing
Terms of work 1 - 3 working days, depending on the number of belts.
Please note! When transferring the belts, remove fasteners and bolts, which can be unscrewed and lost during transportation.
Removal of old tape and installation of new tape
We will remove the old belt and install the new belt. When dismantling and installing the belt, we do not disassemble the seat belt reel mechanism itself.
To remove the belt, it is sufficient to pull the belt completely out of the reel and remove the locking pin.
In this way, we are not tampering with the belt reel and the belt mechanism will not change as a result of the operation
Choose a ribbon color close to the original or a contrasting bright color
Many shades of ribbon in different colors and textures are available. We will select the desired shade of tape close to the original belts or install bright-colored belts to match your interior, body, or mood
Matching threads to the color of the ribbon tone
We use high strength polyester threads, which are specially designed for products that require high strength.The threads are also elastic, durable, high colorfastness.
They can withstand complex car wash and are resistant to detergents.
We will choose the closest shade to the desired color of the belt.
You save on ribbon length
The length of the new straps will be equal to the length of the old straps. You will pay for the amount of ribbon that will actually be used for the re-stitching. You will not have to buy any spare ribbon.
Sewing on the original marking tags
We will transfer all the tags and labels from the old belts to the new belts. If the tags are in bad condition, worn or faded, they may not be re-stitched to keep the new belts looking good.
Installation of stop buttons on the tape
We have 11 colors of clips available in our store. The color of the clip can be matched either to the color of the belt webbing or to the color of the hardware. When ordering, please let us know what color clip you would like.
We use modern sewing equipment
We work on an industrial sewing machine designed for extra heavy materials. The technical characteristics of the machine ensure the necessary adhesion and secure fixation of all layers of material.
The powerful motor, excellent needle force, and fixed material advancement ensure stable stitching along the entire length of the seam.
Clean the slip points on the tape
If your belt has become badly retracted over time, or does not return to the reel properly, we will fix the problem, as in most cases it is caused by accumulated dirt in the mechanisms, belt fasteners and on the webbing.
We will clean all belt passages and the renewed belt will work like new again.
